Rules, fair use, and account enforcement for TekGate

1. SERVICE PURPOSE

TekGate is strictly a gaming optimization service.

TekGate is designed primarily for gaming purposes only. The service is intended to improve routing, reduce latency, and help stabilize connections to supported online games.

TekGate is not intended to be used as a general-purpose VPN for anonymity, unrestricted browsing, large downloads, torrenting, automation, or other non-gaming activities.

By using TekGate, you agree to use the service only for legitimate gaming-related purposes.

2. ACCEPTABLE USE

The following activities are strictly prohibited while using TekGate:

Torrenting or large file downloads

DDoS attacks, scanning, probing, or network abuse

Spam, bots, scripts, or automated traffic

Unauthorized access attempts

Malware, harmful software, or abusive payloads

Any use that violates applicable laws

3. LICENSE POLICY

TekGate requires a valid license key or activation token.

Each license is intended for a single user and a single authorized device unless otherwise stated in writing.

Sharing, distributing, reselling, or reusing a license across multiple users or devices without authorization is prohibited.

We may bind your license to your device fingerprint to protect the service and prevent abuse.

4. MONITORING AND FAIR USE

To protect the network and all users, we may monitor limited technical indicators such as connection status, activation records, device identifiers, abnormal usage behavior, and service performance metrics.

We enforce a fair use policy. Excessive bandwidth consumption or repeated non-gaming activity may result in restrictions, throttling, suspension, or termination.

We do not promise uninterrupted service, lower ping in every situation, or access from every ISP or country. Performance depends on routing, congestion, local networks, and restrictions outside our control.

5. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION, CANCELLATION, AND NO REFUND

We reserve the right to cancel your account without refund if misuse is found.

If we determine, at our sole discretion, that your account is being used for non-gaming purposes, license sharing, abuse, prohibited activity, or anything that threatens the stability or reputation of TekGate, we may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account immediately.

This action may be taken without prior notice.

If your account is suspended or terminated due to violation of these Terms, you will not be entitled to any refund, credit, or compensation.

6. DISCLAIMERS

TekGate is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for ISP blocking, government restrictions, game bans, routing issues, outages, packet loss, latency spikes, or third-party service interruptions.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TekGate will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use or inability to use the service.

8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TekGate after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
